FAQ
Common questions about track training.
Yes, you need to bring your own motorcycle. It must be in good technical condition, but it does not need to be road-legal. Sport bikes and naked bikes are generally easier to handle on track, but you can participate with any motorcycle that is in safe technical condition and that you're comfortable riding.
Full leather suit or textile motorcycle gear, back protector, gloves, boots, and a full-face helmet. Your gear will be checked during registration.
Absolutely! This training is designed as the perfect preparation for your first trackday. We guide you through everything step by step, helping you learn the racing line, proper riding technique, and build confidence in a safe environment. The goal is to help you enjoy your very first trackday with confidence, proper technique, and a clear understanding of how a trackday works—not to chase lap times.
We work with a maximum of 20 riders per training session, split into groups of up to 10 riders. This allows for more personal attention from your instructors. Each training session requires a minimum of 10 participants to take place.
If weather conditions make safe conduct impossible, mapomoto will cancel the training. In this case you can choose between an alternative date or a credit. Statutory claims remain unaffected. The decision rests solely with us. You will be notified in good time by phone or email.
Up to and including 60 days before the training, free cancellation is possible and the fee will be refunded. Less than 60 days before the training, there is in principle no refund. Non-attendance likewise does not entitle you to a refund. Your booking is personal and may not be transferred to another person. For full details please see our Terms & Conditions.
You will learn the racing line, proper braking technique, and hang-off body positioning. As your riding technique improves, a knee down may happen naturally—but it is never the goal of the training. You'll also become familiar with the structure and procedures of a typical trackday, giving you the confidence to attend your first one. This is about building technique, confidence, and control—not chasing lap times.
